Eric Mize, DVM Hospitalist

Dr. Eric Mize received his Bachelor of Science in animal science with a minor in chemistry at University of Findlay in Ohio. Dr. Mize then went on to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2020 from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama. Since then, he has worked as a rotating intern at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center in California and a neurology specialty intern at BluePearl Pet Hospital in both Columbia and Sandy Springs, GA.

Dr. Mize has participated in several neurological presentations and publications throughout his career. He has been honored with many leadership awards, positions and scholarships throughout his education. Dr. Mize’s veterinary interests include treating seizures, inflammatory brain disease, and intervertebral disc disease. He enjoys spending time at home with his Beagle mix, Dakota, when not practicing his clinical skills.
