About SEVN
Southeast Veterinary Neurology (SEVN) is South Florida‘s leader in veterinary neurology, neurosurgery, and advanced imaging. We are the only neurologists in Miami board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and with offices in Miami, Boynton Beach, Jupiter and Virginia Beach, we exclusively treat diseases of the brain, spinal cord, and neuromuscular system.
About Synapse
Our one-day, in-person and virtual conference will cover everything you need to know about neurology, while providing attendees with five continuing education (CE) credits! We expect more than 200 veterinarians (many who are practice owners) and veterinary technicians to attend this event designed to bring together the veterinary community for a day of learning and networking.
Attendees will be provided with:
- 5 CE credits
- Lecture presentations from the brightest minds in veterinary neurology
- Guest speaker from another veterinary specialty background
- Networking opportunities
- Breakfast, lunch, and cocktail reception
- Opportunity to enter our raffle for a great prize
- A sWAG bag
A portion of proceeds will be donated to our charitable fund with the Veterinary Care Foundation (VCF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity that helps veterinary practices subsidize the cost of treatment for families and rescue groups in need.
Speakers
Dr. Amanda Taylor
Dr. Amanda R. Taylor received her DVM from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biological Sciences. She completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Colorado State University and a residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at Texas A&M University.
DR. AMY THIBAULT
Dr. Amy Thibault was born and raised in South Florida. She attended the University of Florida, majoring in Biology with a minor in Business Administration. After her undergraduate studies, she obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in May of 2018.
