This includes a neurological examination which evaluates the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. Board-certified neurologists have received extra training beyond veterinary school and must pass several rigorous examinations before becoming board-certified. Southeast Veterinary Neurology is fortunate to employ the only neurologists in Miami-Dade that are board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine specialty of Neurology.
