Diagnostics
Many of the conditions evaluated by a neurologist require advanced imaging. For the majority of neurological conditions, this is the only way to diagnose your pet’s condition. Southeast Veterinary Neurology utilizes the latest diagnostic technologies to accurately and appropriately manage your pet’s condition. Dr. Wong may recommend some of the following tests:

A 1.5T MRI allows Dr. Wong to obtain a more accurate diagnosis in less time (less anesthesia) than low-field MRI
Surgery
Many neurological conditions require surgery for the best possible outcome. A Carl Zeiss neurosurgical operating microscope is used for all neurosurgical procedures. This equipment provides better visualization and magnification when compared to surgical loupes or the ‘naked eye’.
